| Free for use and open to the public, Olafur Tryggvason's GSD pedigree database provides a superb means for researching GSD pedigree information and viewing photos. Presently, there are over 390,000 registered dogs in the database. In addition to the pedigree database and list of kennels in the database, there's information on the German Shepherd, various result lists, including a historical VA list and a "Top List" (dogs most successful in the Bundessieger championship, with the most comments, highest number of progeny, etc.), a namepicker, as well as options for submitting comments, placing an ad, submitting articles, and communicating via the message board. The cost of running such a site is very expensive and Olafur is researching a means of defraying some of the expense. When such is in place, please help support the site.
